As I was tracking the China 2.0 trip and saw they visited Google, I thought that something was going on by the fact that Baidu was off the list. I thought, hmm?

After a couple of twitter comments, I began to see a discussion around Baidu and it was popping up even more so by the time of the Shanghai 2.0 Cocktail party.

In that sense, it didn't surprise me to see that the last minute cancellation at Adtech Shanghai and rumours of trying to get back on the list.

One would think that the strategic partnerships would also assist in future distribution channels or cross promotion of services. The "re-inventing of the wheel" is going to also eat away at the value proposition of owning the shares.
